C-Cat 48
tailor made performance
- 14.96 m length
- 7.30 m width
- 0.90-2.95 m draft

Comar entered the world of catamarans with the C-37 (later 38) and C-48. The latest models really benefit from modern materials and the yard’s ever continuing strive for improvements. At just under ten tons of displacement and 180 square meter sail area, she is a true performer.
Almost forgotten
Comar never forgot where they come from. Once, unsinkability was one of the main safety features of a catamaran. It still is with the C-Cat 48, with 4 watertight compartments displacing 2200 liter, the C-48 is unsinkable.

carbon where it matters most
The deck and bimini are built in Corecell, vacuum infused with epoxy, combined with carbon composite for maximum stiffness and weight efficiency. The mast, daggerboards, crossbeam, compression beam and bowsprit are all built in carbon fibre.
The primary structural bulkheads are engineered in carbon composite, while the remaining bulkheads are constructed in high-grade advanced composite materials.
