Rossinante Yachts was founded by Ron Spoelstra. Nearly 25 years ago, he left the banking world behind. As a rebellion against the prevailing morals and the established order there, he named his company Rossinante Yachts, inspired by Don Quixote and his loyal horse, Rossinante. From Oostmahorn, on the edge of the Wadden Sea, he began chartering sailing yachts and later importing them. This rebellious spirit led to collaborations with the world’s finest boatbuilders.
