Destination Florida: HH 52 “TABOO” arrives from the shipyard
I’ve just received some exciting images from the USA that I can’t wait to share with you. Together with the shipyard, we’re thrilled for the American owners of this stunning HH 52, which recently completed its sea transport to the delivery port in Tampa, Florida. The crew of the transport vessel gave a big “thumbs up,” signaling that everything went smoothly!
Safely arrived in Florida: TABOO is unloaded
While the first European catamarans are still under construction, this example showcases the care and service provided by HH Catamarans. The shipyard doesn’t just ensure you receive the best catamaran in the world, but also guarantees its complete commissioning and handover at the location of your choice.

Rewinding a few months: Owners inspect the catamaran at the shipyard
Let’s start at the beginning: After signing the purchase and build contract, your catamaran is quickly integrated into the production schedule. As the owner, you’re always welcome to visit the shipyard to see your masterpiece taking shape. As your dealer, I’ll gladly accompany you on this unique, thrilling, and adventurous journey—trust me, it’s an experience to remember! Xiamen is a wonderful city to say in, with clean air, electric cars, great hotels an an overall relaxed vibe. The city itself is a reason to go there.
The owners inspect the hull in person at the shipyard
The American owners of HH 52, especially proud to own hull number 001, didn’t want to miss the opportunity to visit the impressive production facility. For us in Europe, with a 13-hour flight ahead, I recommend visiting the shipyard during the final quarter of your catamaran’s construction. By then, the vessel will be nearly complete, allowing you to see most of the finished product.
TABOO is ready: A big celebration at the roll-out!
If you can’t make the journey to Asia, don’t worry—we’ll regularly provide photo updates from the shipyard. This way, you can digitally track the progress of your dream catamaran and stay informed about every step of its construction. One of the highlights is the roll-out, when your catamaran is fully painted and fitted out. It’s a moment worth framing!
HH Catamarans’ delivery service: A worry-free package
What happens next? During the purchasing process, we’ll discuss your delivery options. Whether you prefer to take delivery directly at the shipyard in Xiamen or Cebu, or at another location of your choice, the decision is entirely up to you.
You decide the entry level: we provide training by professional skippers
Our own HH delivery crew operates worldwide
HH Catamarans has a dedicated in-house team for professional yacht deliveries, so we don’t rely on third parties. Your catamaran, like “TABOO,” can be transported to your preferred location or a major seaport nearby. For those bringing their catamaran to the Netherlands, the Amsterdam seaport is ideal. Located near Rossinante’s home base, this hub is a key point for yacht transport. If you choose to go to the Mediterranean, the port of Barcelona is perfect.

Our very own team of professionals
Whether it’s Amsterdam or another port, specially trained HH delivery crew and riggers will follow your catamaran, ensuring it’s rigged and ready upon arrival. From construction to handover, your boat is always in the hands of HH Catamarans experts. Fun fact: Alongside “TABOO,” three more HH catamarans are being delivered worldwide, a testament to the shipyard’s exceptional service quality.
You decide the entry level: we provide training by professional skippers
When your catamaran is ready, our team—including myself as your dealer and the HH Catamarans delivery crew—will spend 7, 9, or even up to 12 days with you on board. During this time, we’ll perform thorough quality and technical inspections and provide comprehensive training on the catamaran’s systems. For those seeking additional expertise, we also collaborate with external trainers who specialize in advanced techniques and customized programs. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or new to multihulls, this tailored approach ensures you’re ready to navigate your HH catamaran and enjoy every adventure on the water.
Unloading, rigging, and prepping: Just a few days to go
Training covers everything from electrical systems to daily onboard equipment and rigging. Of course, we’ll also set sail together! Depending on your preferences and experience, we tailor these exciting days to suit your needs.
We wish “TABOO” and her crew “fair winds,” as the Americans say, and celebrate this sleek, fast, and beautiful vessel together with them.
